Through authentic songs, ritual melodies, and emotional storytelling, the KORALI ensemble brings to life the beauty and depth of Ukrainian tradition in a contemporary form.

You’ll hear ancient harmonies, feel the spirit of nature, and witness how a simple melody can connect generations.

About the ensemble:  KORALI is an a cappella vocal ensemble that celebrates the Ukrainian choral tradition. Based in the Netherlands, the group unites singers from The Hague and nearby cities who share a passion for harmony, heritage, and culture.

Their repertoire features Ukrainian folk songs about nature and love, as well as sacred pieces from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic liturgy.

Twice a month, KORALI performs during the Holy Ukrainian Greek Catholic Mass at Bonifatius Church in Rijswijk, where they also founded the annual Christmas concert “Velyka Kolyada” – now a beloved tradition running for seven years and uniting Ukrainian and local choirs.

The ensemble has performed at major festivals such as Zing aan Zee, the Ghent Music Festival, Kerkrade Choral Festival, and Peace of Cake Festival in Hilversum. They also took part in the Eurovision side program in Rotterdam and the global “Shchedryk” flashmob with Vera Farmiga, initiated by Jerry Heil.

KORALI performed at the Fotomuseum Den Haag during the B.Mikhailov photography exhibition and created a new rendition of the Ukrainian classic “Chervona Ruta.” In 2024, they appeared on Dutch national TV in the show “Zing!”, competing among the best vocal groups in the Netherlands.

Join us for an evening of voices, light, and ritual — an experience that will stay with you long after the last note fades.
