We invite you to join the second interactive lecture in our WHAT UKRAINE WEARS series, exploring the history and diversity of traditional Ukrainian clothing.

This lecture, created by A. Khomenko & N. Klymiuk, will focus on traditional Ukrainian outerwear. Together, we will discover what a SARDAK and KERSETKA are, learn about the traditions and meanings behind these garments, and explore how different types of outerwear were worn across Ukraine.

But this is more than a lecture. You will have an opportunity to see and try on traditional garments and experience Ukrainian traditional clothing up close. And, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for photos.

The lecture will be followed by a practical workshop where you will create your own VOSKIVKA - a traditional Ukrainian brooch made using an authentic craft technique.

No previous experience is required.Participation is free; donations are welcome.

Join us for an day of history, craftsmanship and living Ukrainian heritage — and discover the stories that traditional clothing continues to tell today.
